15. Create a Comic or Visual Story
Plan story beats, panels, dialogue and continuity, then check reading order.
The lesson
Write the purpose and action of every panel before generating artwork.
Use a stable character description and repeated visual anchors.
Request a panel-by-panel account rather than one general summary.
Check the finished comic
- Are panels presented in the intended reading order?
- Are characters consistent across panels and pages?
- Does each panel show its intended story beat?
- Are speech bubbles attributed to the correct speaker?
- Is every word spelled correctly?
- Do props, positions or actions contradict the script?
Worked example
A six-page comic about theatrical crime-fighting cats was generated from a written story and visual prompt. One model described each page; a second checked spelling and continuity and found two spelling errors. The second review turned “Does it look all right?” into specific, actionable information.

Draft a three-panel story as numbered beats. Generate it, then request a panel-by-panel description with every piece of text transcribed. Use a second check for spelling and continuity.
