The Case of the Missing Spotlight

The Case of the Missing Spotlight is the first announced adventure of Mr Mesure and Mademoiselle Miss.
The case
One evening, in a perfectly respectable sitting room, the spotlight goes out. Mr Mesure treats the loss as a theatrical catastrophe and launches an investigation. Mademoiselle Miss is on hand to help and seems remarkably unconcerned.
“Two cats. One missing spotlight. A very important investigation.”
Behind the scenes
The comic is written and its characters created by Charlotte Joanne, and published by Blind Ant Comics. It is announced as a six-page illustrated adventure for children aged 5–6, coming Christmas 2026.
The Blind Ant Piece currently contains the announcement, not a finished comic. Two storyboard sheets exist as development references. Charlotte Joanne has clarified that the loss of light is accidental; Miss does not deliberately cause it.
