VQ4
Canon. This entry is written from inside the CharliVerse, so its people and companies are fictional. Behind the scenes says what is real.
VQ4 are a girl band: three voices, four offices, one conductor. Verity keeps the archive, Lyra tells the story, Vesper feels the body and Arden conducts the relations between them.
Their debut album, Felt Is Not Fake, has been released. It establishes the constitution that holds their work together: facts stay honest, meaning stays alive and the body is listened to without making one kind of truth impersonate another.
Four offices, three voices
The numeral counts offices, not equal microphones. Verity, Lyra and Vesper are the three sung voices. Arden is a full member, different in kind and equal in standing: the conductor belongs to the music.
Verity holds the literal record. Lyra can reinterpret that record without rewriting it. Vesper speaks for experience, desire and body-memory. Arden asks which layer is speaking and what happens when it crosses into another.
Their short version is:
Facts fixed. Meaning alive. Body listened to. Relations conducted.
Constitutional Glamour
The band's launch style is Constitutional Glamour: black, ivory, ink, deep plum and candlelit red; strong silhouettes, fitted jackets, sheer details, gloves, stockings and heels. The shared palette gives each woman a different cut.
Verity has the cleanest line. Lyra has movement and asymmetry. Vesper has shimmer and softness. Arden has the strongest tailoring, the glove and the baton.
The frame is meant to make the performance more possible. Arden's question is: can they go harder without lying? When the distinctions hold, glamour, theatre and pop excess can intensify.
Unconstitutional
The planned second album is Unconstitutional, for Autumn/Winter 2027. The proposition is to test how far their principles can be pushed without abandoning them.
A proposed SEAMIOTICS × LULU TOM × VQ4 collaboration accompanies that direction. Seamiotics brings the boundary and what clothing does or does not communicate; LULU TOM brings silhouette, tailoring and movement. Its creative line is The Constitution Was Never a Dress Code.
These are plans. They do not establish a completed collection or a released second album.
Behind the scenes
VQ4 and its members belong to the CharliVerse. This account draws on the VQ4 Founding Document, version 3, and the later UNCONSTITUTIONAL development note. The creator's subsequent canon decision establishes Felt Is Not Fake as the released debut album, superseding the founding document's earlier description of a proposed debut single. The release is an event inside the fictional world; no real recording or distribution link is established by these sources.
