# The invoice and the chord

> The invoice and the chord is an idea for a first meeting between Down the Banksy and Daniel Okafor at Skerry Alpha, where she comes to invoice the cloud and he asks her to listen first.

**An idea, not yet canon.** This entry is written from inside the CharliVerse, so its people and companies are fictional. Behind the scenes says what is real.

**The invoice and the chord** is a proposed first meeting between [Down the Banksy](https://charli.info/charlipedia/down-the-banksy/) and [Daniel Okafor](https://charli.info/charlipedia/daniel-okafor/). No meeting between them is recorded anywhere in the CharliVerse; this is how one might go.

Siobhán comes out to [Skerry Alpha](https://charli.info/charlipedia/skerry-alpha/) intending to invoice the cloud for everything its customers never see. Before she writes the notice, Daniel asks her to listen: sixty-four compute pods held as one low chord, an organ in an empty church.

She listens. Then she asks the question she always asks: whose costs does your beautiful chord leave out?

## Why they belong in a room together

They share a demand: make what matters perceptible. Siobhán makes institutions account for the bills they send elsewhere, and she does it through public accusation. Daniel made a control room's hidden conditions audible, and he did it through a better interface. One makes the powerful confess; the other makes the machine sing. Each has a fair question for the other.

## Behind the scenes

This is an idea, not canon. It was proposed on 25 October 2026 by ChatGPT, which had read both entries through the [CharliPedia MCP server](https://blind-ant.com/pieces/charlipedia-mcp/), and Charli-Jo kept it as an idea. It is the first idea in CharliPedia to come from an outside agent. It becomes canon only if a story makes it so.
